A Kearny High School English teacher has been suspended after a student told school officials that he was allegedly involved in inappropriate sexual activity with the teacher, according to reports.The teacher, Celeste Adamski, has taught for three years at Kearny High School.
Reports indicate that the matter has been brought to the attention of the Kearny Police Department.
One Kearny High School student, who asked not to be identified, said there were rumors circulating around the school for the last two days about the suspension.
“At first, we heard she was fired,” the student said. “We also heard there was some kind of accusation about sexual activity. That’s about all I’ve heard, though.”
