Belleville woman sentenced to 4 years in prison

A Belleville woman was sentenced to four years in state prison for driving impaired, leading to a crash that caused the death of an unborn child weeks before her birth, and took away the ability of the victim to ever carry another child, Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow announced.

Nutley man murdered at work in Belleville

A 52-year-old auto mechanic from Belleville was bludgeoned to death early Thursday morning at the Belleville car garage where he was a lead mechanic, said Paul Loriquet, press secretary for Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow.

The Star-Ledger is reporting that a 52-year-old Nutley man was found murdered early this morning in a Belleville car-repair garage on Franklin Avenue.
