Please be advised that residents have seen a red fox in the vicinity of Chestnut Street and Passaic Avenue as recently as Friday, March 22. In the event the animal is seen, do not approach it. Call the Nutley Police Department at 973-284-4940.

Jersey Journal: Harrison Stabbing suspect may have been drinking

The suspect in Sunday’s homicide in Harrison was apparently drunk as he stabbed Manuel Romero, of Harrison, several times in the throat, The Jersey Journal is reporting on its Web site.
