Tanski sentenced … finally

After months of delays and uncertainty, former Harrison DPW boss Bill Tanski has been sentenced to three years incarceration, the Star-Ledger is reporting today.

Jersey Journal: Harrison Stabbing suspect may have been drinking

The suspect in Sunday’s homicide in Harrison was apparently drunk as he stabbed Manuel Romero, of Harrison, several times in the throat, The Jersey Journal is reporting on its Web site. Appellate court delivers serious blow to Harrison redevelopment

The state Appellate Division has overturned a previous court’s decision that allowed for the eminent domain taking of the Adler, Amaral and DeRose properties in Harrison, Kearny on the Web is reporting this afternoon. Reports: Man murdered in Harrison

A man was murdered in Harrison yesterday, according to reports.

Reports say the victim’s name is Maunel Romero, of North Second Street. A suspect has been arrested and charged in the crime, according to reports.
