Nutley man convicted of several sex offenses in Monmouth County
FREEHOLD — A Monmouth County jury has convicted Jonathan Nazzaretto, 30, of Nutley, of second degree attempted sexual assault, second degree luring or enticing a child and third degree attempted endangering the welfare of a child, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said last week.

Cat-fire update: 34 of 85 cats dead
Of the 85 cats found at a Wednesday fire at 82 McKinley St. in Nutley, fire Lt. David Wilson now says 34 have died, 51 were rescued and an unknown number escaped while firefighters put out the fire. A Perfect World Cat Rescue and the Bloomfield-Bukowski Animal Shelter now have the living cats.
